chester shade historical associaton community events

The Chester Shade Historical Association has our MONTHLY board meetings on the 1st Thursday of each month (with occasional exceptions for conflicts).  All current, past and prospective members, or anyone just curious as to what we are about are welcome.  The meetings take place on the 2nd Floor of the Chester Academy.  Come join us!  (map link provided)

Our main fundraiser of the year takes place at the Dinner and Auction.  A fun time  with good food and lots of fun and laughter.  Many great items to bid on donated by businesses and individuals around the county!  Come join us at the Syracuse Community Center:  2244 7th Street, Syracuse, OH  (map link provided)

Join us for a day filled with demonstrations, activities, storytelling and events for young and old.   Reenactors will demonstrate and tell stories of our history in this area.  Wagon rides and game for the kids.  Challenges for the adults.  Come join us on the Chester Commons as we fulfill our charge to keep our history alive - in a fun, informative way!   (map link provided)
